Job Summary:
The Tessitura Network Technical and Extended Services Area in Professional Services serves as a central hub for Technical Consulting requests and oversees the delivery of our Extended Services retainer contracts.
Reporting to a Manager, the Consultant works in a team setting to assist members with their Tessitura needs. Tasks will include such duties as development of custom technical solutions, leading member meetings, and providing recommended practice advice for Tessitura configuration.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Assume ownership of assigned ticket/project lifecycle from initial discovery through final solution following established workflows with the support of your peers and guidance of your manager.
- Analyze business requirements and design appropriate technical solutions.
- Make members aware of and leverage Tessitura recommended practices to align their business needs with our technology.
- Enhance native system functionality via creation of custom solutions including reports, outputs, data migrations, and integrations.
- Maintain comprehensive and timely communication with Tessitura members, meeting established deadlines and leading project meetings as assigned.
- Identify concerns as needed. Recognize the right moments to escalate — whether they relate to project hurdles (such as scope creep, technical blockers, or unresponsiveness) or budgetary matters.
- Create member-facing documentation for solutions, following department protocols.
- Adhere to guidelines on Production deployment and code storage to uphold network security practices.
- Serve as Check-In Meeting Leader for Extended Services members as assigned. Develop strong, trusting relationships with Tessitura member; ensure comprehensive and timely communications, and leading member facing meetings following the approved meeting template.
- Develop and maintain technical and business knowledge through training, classes, and provided resources.
- Meet annual time tracking goals and submit hours and expenses promptly.
- Travel occasionally for meetups and conferences.
- Perform other job-related tasks as needed.
- Experience writing queries, stored procedures, views and other database objects with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
- Proven aptitude in analyzing business needs to conceive, design, and develop innovative solutions. Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to grasp new technical material quickly and explain it to non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing project activities and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with others in a very strong team-focused structure.
- Ability to work independently and effectively from a home office as part of a global, virtual company.
- Proficiency with Tessitura Network technology, functionality, and services Possess broad knowledge across the Tessitura database data structures.
- Experience writing detailed and thorough technical requirements and documentation
- Experience in the arts and culture field
- Broad knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Fundraising, Marketing, Ticketing, and/or Project Management Prior involvement in a consulting environment
- Experience in project management
