Job Summary:
The Sponsor & Partnership Manager is a member of the Solutions & Strategic Partnerships team within the Growth group, focused on relationship stewardship, sponsor experience optimization, and revenue generation. Tessitura is a non-profit software company, exclusively serving arts & cultural organizations, therefore this role requires a deep understanding of the specific needs of our members and community.
Working closely with the VP of Strategic Partnerships and cross-functional teams, this position drives revenue growth through compelling sponsorship opportunities that deepen partner engagement and create exceptional sponsor experiences that build long-term value. This position is responsible for achieving budgeted TLCC (Tessitura Learning & Community Conference) sponsorship revenue, providing overall stewardship to sponsors and partners, and serving as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of partner accounts.
Success in this role requires the ability to articulate how sponsors & partners directly address the operational and strategic needs of Tessitura members. This role is a close collaborator with the Community Vendors and Partnerships Manager on the overall engagement and communication strategies for the partner and sponsor programs. This role also provides the Solutions team with necessary connections and collateral to collaborate on partner functionality and positioning. The ideal candidate will possess strong account management skills, excel at relationship building, and have experience in sponsorship cultivation and stewardship. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about creating mutually beneficial partnerships that advance both Tessitura’s mission and revenue goals.

Core Responsibilities:
TLCC Sponsorship Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive sponsorship strategies for each TLCC conference globally (North America, UK/Europe, & Australia/New Zealand)
- Manage sponsorship pipeline from prospect identification through execution
- Collaborate with Events team on execution of overall sponsor experience
- Achieve budgeted TLCC sponsorship revenue goals across all conferences
- Create compelling sponsorship packages that align with partner goals and TLCC objectives
- Conduct sponsor outreach, presentation, and relationship cultivation activities
- Manage post-event sponsor follow-up and ROI reporting
- Coordinate sponsorship agreement execution
- Serve as primary onsite sponsor liaison during TLCC events
- Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of Strategic Partners & Partners
- Conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning sessions with key partners on a bi-annual basis
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the partner portfolio in collaboration with the Solutions team subject matter experts
- Contribute to partner cross-company knowledgebases with key partner information
- Ensure partner satisfaction and address any relationship challenges proactively
- Establish referral process with business development, member success, & solutions teams
- Manage partner revenue share agreements ensure accurate tracking and payment in collaboration with Tessitura’s finance team
- In collaboration with the Community Vendors and Partnerships Manager, design and implement sponsor/partners engagement and communication programs that build long-term loyalty
- Lead partner & sponsor benefits fulfillment and enablement efforts in coordination with Events, Marketing, Learning, Member Success, & Solutions teams
- Collect partner & sponsor feedback to continuously improve benefits and offerings
- Develop partner & sponsor recognition and appreciation initiatives
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity tracking for sponsor and partnership
- Provide regular revenue forecasting, reporting, and analysis to VP and Growth leadership
- Collaborate with VP on budgeting and revenue target setting
- 5+ years of account management and/or sponsorship expertise
- Deep understanding of arts & cultural organizations
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing prospect pipelines
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal communication skills, with adaptability to work effectively with diverse partner personalities and business models
- Experience with sponsorship cultivation, stewardship, and event management
- Proactive approach to identifying collaboration opportunities across departments to enhance partner experiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to adapt strategies based on diverse stakeholder feedback and changing conference requirements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising pipeline tracking tools
- Ability to travel for conferences, partner meetings, and industry events (~4-6 times per year)
- Experience with revenue share or commission-based partnership models
- Knowledge of arts industry trends, technology adoption patterns, and competitive landscape
- Experience with a sophisticated Customer Relationship Management platform
