Junior Software Developer

Tessitura Network is an enterprise software company serving the arts and cultural sector.  Tessitura Software® is an application that includes ticketing, fundraising, CRM, marketing, reporting and analysis, subscriptions, and membership functionality. Over 580 arts and cultural organizations in six countries use Tessitura to power their businesses.   Tessitura Software includes a substantial API which powers hundreds of web applications that deliver real-time ticketing, fundraising, targeted marketing and constituent management functionality.  This same API powers our pre-built hosted web products, a fully-integrated web purchase path product called TN Express Web™ (TNEW) and our mobile customer engagement platform TN Mobile Plus™ (TNMP).  

Job Description

We are looking to add a developer to our team that loves to code, learn about new technology, frameworks, and languages and is motivated to learn about all aspects of the software development process.  You'll have the opportunity to learn from senior developers as we have a culture of mentoring and pair-programming.  This is a great environment to grow into a full-stack developer.  We all work remotely, so you must be self-motivated and a great communicator.  We have daily virtual stand-up meetings and our team meets in person several times throughout the year.  The entire company meets in person twice a year.

Our current development stack consists of: Angular, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Android, JavaScript, SQL Server

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with the team that is building our industry leading software
  • Learn new programming languages and frameworks
  • Learn about the Tessitura suite and how it is used by our licensees
  • Participate in planning sessions for all software development efforts
  • Some travel will be required for team and company meetings


  • Computer Science or related degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong object-oriented design skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Some experience with our stack: ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL, Javascript, Angular
  • Self-motivated; ability to work efficiently from a virtual office environment
  • Ability to work closely with others in a very strong team-focused structure
